I like having a radar detector, that said I’ve driven for 25k miles in the 3 without one.

To each his own. I just don’t like having stuff in my windshield area, not even a phone or GPS. I’ve got an oil change sticker way up in the top corner and a dashcam tucked up behind the rearview mirror, and that’s about as much as I can stand. Good thing don’t live in a state that slaps a big inspection sticker in the lower corner.

The strange thing is if I use a radar detector I am almost more worried about being pulled over than if I don’t use one. Also in Montana you really have to be flying to get pulled over if you have MT plates. Like 15 over.
